- : Did you ever think that perhaps Mr. Legendre was looking for c code to
- : handle graphics?
-
- He's looking for a book or anything else that would be a great source
- of 3-D algorithms. Certainly C code is included in "anything else",
- but the discussion is still more appropriate elsewhere.

- : A lot of graphics systems use c because of its portability. Isn't
- : that one of the great things about c?
-
- Uh, a graphics system has nothing to do with C. If you want to
- discuss all topics that *use* C here, don't you think it defeats the
- purpose of a C newsgroup?
-
- : Your response makes it look as if you watch the newsgroup to shoot

- : free-for-all group, you could at least have put your response in more
- : polite terms.
-
- That there is no moderator doesn't mean the discussion is free-for-
- all. People aren't banned (no mechanism to do so) from posting, instead
- they are asked to leave if their post is off-topic. As for Mr. Kirby's
- response, I quote it again below:
-
- : >Please post graphics related questions to a graphics related newsgroup.
- : >comp.lang.c is for is for questions about and discussion of the C language.
-
- If you think that's impolite, you haven't been on USENet very long.
